How do I unprotect sheet & remove the password from a VBA project without destroy macro cods
protected sheet have vba project with password ,, i was able to unprotected it but all macros and vba project was destroyed and all codes were disappeared

Odd issue. More information about this file would be helpful.
How did you unprotect the sheet ,in review Tab or using the VBA code?
Does this problem happen with one file only or any file in excel? What the VBA code looks like?
You can try to record a simple macro to test this issue .
